Calamini Urbano
Calamini Urbano
With this corporate film, Calamini set out to assert its identity in the marble and stone industry with strength, elegance and authenticity, reaffirming its role as a leading company in the quarrying and processing of Pietra Serena, one of the most iconic materials in the Tuscan landscape and Italian architectural tradition.
The project was born from the desire to tell a business story that is also a love story: a passion for the material, its beauty and the culture it embodies. Through a visual language that is both poetic and rigorous, the film takes viewers into the world of Calamini, from the quarries set among the hills, where stone emerges from nature, to the workshops where expert hands transform it with artisanal precision into works of exceptional quality and aesthetic value.
Filmed with a cinematic style, the images celebrate the dialogue between people and material, tradition and innovation, conveying the essence of a craft that demands time, dedication and respect. Every sequence becomes a tribute to Pietra Serena: its texture, its reflections, and the gestures and tools that shape it.
At the heart of the story is a family history spanning more than fifty years, built on values as solid as the stone itself: passion, continuity, expertise and a deep love for the local area. Today, this legacy is carried forward with the same care and enthusiasm by Paolo and Silvia, who represent the new generation of Calamini. They are the custodians of a heritage made not only of techniques and knowledge, but also of an authentic artisanal spirit capable of bringing together experience and vision, roots and future.
The film is therefore both a tribute to the company’s history and identity and a statement of intent: a proud look at what has been achieved and an open gaze towards what lies ahead, guided by a form of beauty born from respect for the stone and a profound connection with the land from which it comes.
