Emilio Pucci Commercial/Art
Monumental Pucci
For this project, Emilio Pucci asked us to document an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime event: the wrapping of the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Florence, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a symbol of Italian art history. This unique intervention brought together fashion, tradition and artistic heritage, requiring a visual approach capable of conveying both its spectacular impact and profound cultural significance.
To do justice to the experience, we chose two of the most immersive and evocative audiovisual techniques: time-lapse and hyperlapse. Using ten mobile camera positions strategically placed around and within the artistic installation site, we worked continuously for five consecutive days, documenting every stage of the process.
The result was an extensive visual archive of approximately 48,000 images in 4K resolution, subsequently selected, processed and harmonised through a long and complex post-production workflow.
This wealth of imagery was assembled into a film of exceptional visual and narrative power, capturing the emotion of the event through a dynamic and immersive rhythm and drawing viewers into an experience where art, fashion and spirituality converge.
The film achieved international distribution across digital and media channels and was also presented at MoMA in New York, establishing it as a work capable of transforming event documentation into a shared cultural experience.
